Manage & disconnect

https://api.scanfood.co/oauth/connections

Sign in with your ScanFood account to see every connection this account has allowed. Each row shows:

  • the shops connected — one connection can hold several shops, and a whole-franchise choice shows a Whole franchise: name tag
  • the AI app with access (the name that app registered, e.g. ChatGPT, Claude or Grok)
  • Connected and Last used (updated about every 5 minutes while in use · never asked = Never)
  1. Open api.scanfood.co/oauth/connections and sign in.

  2. Find the row for the AI app and shops, then press Disconnect (this removes the whole row — every shop in that connection).

  3. Confirm — the AI app can no longer read your shop data from the next question on.

You can also remove ScanFood inside the AI app (ChatGPT · Claude). To be certain access is cut, disconnect on the ScanFood page as well — that cuts it at the source immediately.

  • You stopped using that AI app, or want to switch to another shop.
  • You lost a phone or computer that is signed in to the AI app.
  • You see a connection you don’t remember allowing — disconnect it and change your ScanFood password.
  • “Last used” moves even though you haven’t asked anything.

A connection’s list of shops can’t be edited (to prevent accidental switching) — disconnect it, then connect again from the AI app and tick the new set of shops when you allow access. The exception is Whole franchise — branches your account gains access to later are included automatically, no reconnecting needed.

If your account loses access to one of the shops in a connection, that shop stops working immediately while the other shops in the same connection keep working.

If you removed it and want it back, or the connection lapsed after more than 60 days unused, start from the AI app again via ChatGPT or Claude — your shop data hasn’t gone anywhere.
